Brand new from Ares we have the L85a3! One of the most Realistic feeling L85 Replicas on the market to-date! Perfect for modern British Loadouts and general fans of Bullpup rifles, this is a high quality replica of the latest variant of the SA80 weapons platform which brings it to the 21st century at long last!
Externally overhauled to feature a full CNC railed handguard, with a monolithic picatinny top rail for the mounting of Iron sights/Optics, a lower rail for Grips and Grenade Launchers and even Keymod sections on the side for any further accessories! The rail system is both thin and ergonomic, a great improvement over the older Daniel Defence rail systems.
Externally the Rifle is painted in Tan with OD Green Furniture such as the Rubber Butt Pad, Cheek Piece and the Pistol Grip and Rail System. - a stark contrast to the sea of all black rifles out there.
Internally it features the Tried and tested Ares EFCS Gearbox, with a microswitch trigger providing a crisp trigger response and consistent performance! The Hop up can be accessed by pulling back the Charging handle and locking the mock bolt cover in place. Once adjusted the Mock bolt catch can be released just like on the real rifle. Batteries are fitted in the pistol grip where the maintenance kit would usually go. Due to the size we would recommend smaller 7.4v LiPos like the 8050 Nuprol 7.4v 1100MAH.
